Tríona Ní Dhomhnaill
Micheál's sister, Tríona is renowned for her distinctive voice. Prior to Nightnoise, she was a member of Skara Brae, The Bothy Band and Relativity. She also has a solo album (cover above).
If she's Micheál's sister, how come she doesn't have the same surname? Because in Irish, Ó'Domhnaill means son of Domhnaill whereas Ní Dhomnaill means daughter of Domhnaill.
